Jennifer Gonzalez

Jennifer, who often goes by Jenny, is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She earned her Master of Social Work at the University of Waterloo. Jenny has been in the human services field for over ten years, and she specializes in supporting individuals with addiction and mental health challenges—an area she is passionate about. Jenny has supported individuals, families, and groups at various non-profit organizations, such as the Canadian Mental Health Association, in hospital settings, and through employee assistance programs. Jenny has training in cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed counselling, dialectical behavioural therapy, and she utilizes a strength-based approach with every person she is working with. Jenny feels honoured to be working with public safety personnel, and she is dedicated to supporting every individual achieve their mental wellness goals.
